וַיִּתְחַזַּ֡ק וַיִּבֶן֩ אֶת־כָּל־הַחוֹמָ֨ה הַפְּרוּצָ֜ה וַיַּ֣עַל עַל־הַמִּגְדָּל֗וֹת וְלַח֙וּצָה֙ הַחוֹמָ֣ה אַחֶ֔רֶת וַיְחַזֵּ֥ק אֶת־הַמִּלּ֖וֹא עִ֣יר דָּוִ֑יד וַיַּ֥עַשׂ שֶׁ֛לַח לָרֹ֖ב וּמָגִנִּֽים׃
Und er nahm Mut und baute die ganze Mauer auf, die niedergerissen worden war, und hob sie bis zu den Türmen und eine andere Mauer ohne und stärkte Millo in der Stadt David und machte Waffen und Schilde im Überfluss.
